About Cypress, TX - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Cypress, Texas is an unincorporated community found along U.S. Highway 290, and as of 2018, over 182,000 people called the area home. Today, Cypress is one of Houston’s largest suburbs, but the city hasn’t always held that title. Cypress was formerly a rural area, and most residents were employed in the dairy and rice farming industries. At only 25 miles northwest of Downtown Houston, it is easy to commute into the city for work, but there are also plenty of employment opportunities found within the city limits. Higher education is also available here at Lone Star College – CyFair, while the Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District maintains local public schools.

There are many wonderful places to visit in the city. Cypress is home to one of Houston’s most popular shopping destinations – Houston Premium Outlets – and visitors will love getting a great deal on their favorite high-end brands. The Boardwalk at Towne Lake offers a variety of specialty shops and restaurants, and spa treatments are available at businesses like Massage Heights, LUX NOA Nail Spa, and Reserve Salon and Spa. Cypress is also home to The Berry Center, which is a multi-use complex that includes an 11,000 seat football stadium, a large arena, and a 456-seat theater.

Varied weather conditions throughout the year require that Cypress residents invest in both home heating and cooling systems. Summer conditions here can be brutal with high temperatures. Most summer days see temperatures that exceed 90 degrees, and thermostat readings of over 100 are common. A central air conditioner with a high SEER rating will help residents to cool their homes while saving on utility costs.

Heating systems in Cypress homes will get less use than the A/C, but it is still important. Mean temperatures in January only reach the mid-50s, and overnight lows can dip even further. A heat pump or high AFUE furnace system will keep indoor temperatures comfortable regardless of how cold it gets outdoors.
